Is This Course For You?

Who Needs This Course?

Nevada uses a demerit point system. If you have between 3 and 11 points, completing an approved traffic safety course cancels up to 3 of them (NRS 483.475). Some drivers take traffic school because a court ordered it. This 5-hour course is designed for both situations, and it's entirely online.

✓

Have 3 to 11 demerit points and want to cancel up to 3

✓

Got a DMV letter about points on your Nevada record

✓

✓

Want to brush up on Nevada traffic laws and safe driving

Good to know: You can use a course for point reduction once every 12 months. If a court order or plea agreement required the course, it won't also count for point reduction. At 12 or more points, the course can't prevent a suspension. Point reduction affects your DMV demerit record only. It doesn't change your driving record or your insurance record. If your course is court-ordered, check your court's deadline.
